Duane Hajime Kurozawa, 57, of Kailua-Kona died May 22, 2017, in Honolulu. Born in Kona, he was self-employed, dba Duane H Kurozawa General Contractor.
Visitation is from 10:30 a.m. June 10 at the Kona Hongwanji Mission with a noon service. Aloha attire is requested.
He is survived by wife, Gail (Miyata) Kurozawa; daughter, Tiffany Kurozawa; father, George Kurozawa and brother, Daryl (Jane) Kurozawa.
Robert Hons
Robert “Bobby” Campbell Hons, 74, of Waimea died May 20, 2017. Born June 30, 1941, in Honolulu, he was a partner and a founder of Willocks Construction Co.
Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to North Hawaii Hospice.
He is survived by spouse, Pamela; sons, Bradford Hons of Olympia, Wash.; Michael (Beth Perkins) Singlehurst of Rockaway Beach, N.T,; daughter, Miki (Joe) Kapisi of Pukalani, Maui; sisters, Dotchie (Bobby) Alo of Kahului, Maui; Marie Toledo of North Dakota; Liz (Verlin) Gilkerson of Elk Grove, Calif.; six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gary Eugene Etling, 70, of Mountain View died May 12, 2017, at his residence. Born in Mount Vernon, Ohio, he was a retired electrician, former volunteer fire chief and firefighter in Ohio and a veteran of the Air Force and Army National Guard.

He is survived by wife, Charlotte Etling of Mountain View; daughter, Christy (Keith) Sakamoto of Maui; brother, Mike (Bev) Etling of Ohio; sisters, Cathy (Lynn) Rowe, Debra (Den) Hess, all of Ohio; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild.

Robert Coulman
Robert Thomas Coulman, 78, of Naalehu died May 21, 2017. Born June 24, 1938, in Elkhorn, Wis., he retired as the owner of Coulman’s Body Shop in Tok, Alaska.

Gladys Naoko Gushiken, 85, of Hilo died April 8, 2017, at a private care home on Oahu. Born March 30, 1932, Hilo, she retired as the manager of Hilo Printers, Limited. She was a member of the Honomu Hongwanji Buddhist Temple and Hui Okinawa.

She is survived by sisters-in-law, Chiyoko Nakamura of Hilo and Yasuko Yahiku of Los Angeles; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandnephews, great-grandnieces, great-great-grandnephews and great-great-grandnieces.

Nancy Elizabeth O’Connell, 93, of Kailua-Kona died Jan. 3, 1924. Born May 21, 2017, in Santa Ana, Calif., she was a public school teacher for the state of California.
She is survived by daughter, Nancy MacGregor of Kailua-Kona; one granddaughter; one grandson; three great-grandchildren.

Thomas Norio Toki, 64, of Hilo died May 17, 2017, at the Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility. Born in Hilo, he was a retired school crossing guard and a retired repairman for Stationers Corporation.
